Through the generous support of 3M and EcoLab, Saint Paul Schools has twenty-eight teams participating in FIRST Lego League this year.  Saint Paul Music Academy is one of those schools!!

FIRST Lego League’s mission is to inspire young people to be  science and  technology leaders, by  engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership.

For those youth who were already technology inclined, High Tech Kids will provide early opportunities to learn analytical processes and how to work together in teams to reach a common goal. Early introduction and hands-on experience will give these youth a head start in reaching chosen careers. For other youth, technology or science careers may not have been a consideration until being introduced to the actual processes, teamwork and 'fun' involved in attacking and conquering a scientific challenge. High Tech Kids programs help students with a wide range of scientific and technology backgrounds to put their skills to use to solve problems or explore issues based on real-life situations.
