My name is Mr. Ching, and I am the Technology teacher for Saint Paul Music Academy. This is my 17th year as a teacher in Saint Paul. Previously, I taught at World Cultures Magnet School, first as a 5th and 6th grade teacher, then as their Technology specialist. I also taught for eight years in Evanston, Illinois plus worked with the adult literacy program in Honduras for two years.
After growing up in Hawaii (and never seeing snow until college), I attended Northwestern University and earned a B.A. in English Literature. I later took education courses to become certified as a teacher, then earned my Masters in Educational Technology from Lesley University.
I really enjoy working with students and expect all of them to develop stronger academic, artistic, and social skills throughout the year. In technology class, we will work on developing computer skills and using these skills to enhance academic progress.
