Hi! My name is Cindy Filipek Johnson (Ms. Filipek). I have been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools for over 25 years. I enjoy teaching, because I love learning--to be able to share that love with children is a great blessing. Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University. I live in St. Paul and grew up in Roseville. I am married and have three grown children that keep me busy out of school. I enjoy reading, writing, cats and assorted crafts projects. I stress creativity and independence in the classroom as well as the skills that are needed to succeed both academically and socially.
