Hey kids, do you like to draw and be creative? Here is your chance to show your creativity and talents by drawing an original picture with only colored pencils

Criteria:

·    You may draw whatever you choose, as long as it is your own design and creation.  No cartoon or known characters allowed.

·    Only Color Pencils may be used

·    No Copying, no tracing

·    The more unique your drawing is, the better

·    Add a lot of details! (Elaboration)

·    Use shading and contrast

·    Must be 100% drawn by student who is submitting it

·    Can be drawn on any size of white paper

·    Attach your drawing to colored construction paper

Each student may submit only one drawing.  Please turn your drawings in to Ms. Sauer no later than Monday January 23, 2012

**Three drawings at every grade level will be selected as winners.  Winners will have their work displayed in the school and will have their work submitted to the 2012 Minnesota State Fair**
