Task: Invented Animal Hybrid Drawings
Students in grades K-6 voluntarily submitted entries for a school-wide Drawing Contest during January 2011.
Criteria:
· Must choose 2-4 different, un-related animals andcombine several of their physical characteristics to create a new, uniqueanimal that has never existed in real-life.
· The more unique your animal is, the better
· Use colorand add a lot of details! (Elaboration)
· Decide what type of habitat your animal would live inand draw the animal in it’s habitat
· Must be 100% drawn by student who is submitting it
· Name Your Animal and include the names of the animalsyou used to create the invented animal
