2011-12 Student Council Election Timeline
Sept 7-9th- Ms Sauer (StuCo Advisor) will visit classrooms during morning meetings to give students information about Student Council
Sept. 13-14th- Students in each classroom who are interested in being a student council representative will each have one minute during morning meeting to tell their class why he/she would make a good representative
Sept 15th - All candidates who are running to be a Student Council Representative will have their names listed on white board or other visible place in room. Each student in the class will be given a secret ballot to write down the names of two candidates they think would be good classroom representatives. Remember: This is an ELECTION, not a popularity contest! ** All the votes will be counted at the end of the day to determine winners
Sept 16th- Student Council Representatives will be announced to whole school followed by first Student Council Meeting
